Arne Morten Grønningsæter
Arne Morten Grønningsæter is currently involved in the modernization of NATO’s command structure, including the establishment of the new Atlantic Command (Joint Force Command Norfolk). Until recently, he led the development of NATO’s programs for the development of command and control for Joint Intelligence and Integrated Air and Missile Defense, as well as capabilities for command and control for maritime and special forces. Grønningsæter has extensive experience in military and civil-military crisis management, having served as the Chief of Naval Operations at the Norwegian Joint Headquarters, Chief of Joint Operations at both the Norwegian Defence Staff and the Norwegian Armed Forces. He has a law degree with a specialization in maritime law and has played a leading role in the development of various military and civil-military plans, regulations, and procedures related to crisis management and operations.
