Cathrine Lagerberg
Cathrine Lagerberg holds a master’s degree in drilling technology from NTNU and has over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry. With numerous trips offshore, she has been involved in various well operations on the Norwegian continental shelf and in Cuba and Azerbaijan. In 2017, she became a multi-source analyst and senior advisor in the defence sector. With extensive international experience in private and public sectors, she has established strategic partnerships in several countries within the civil and military sectors, collaborating with authorities and industries. She is passionate about supporting companies with comprehensive risk and threat assessments that balance profit and trade policies with geopolitics and security policy. She is passionate about supporting companies with customized risk and threat assessments based on a holistic, geopolitical and intelligence approach. With a dual background in engineering and defence, she works proactively to build security awareness across organizations to secure Norwegian and Allie’s technology, R&D and security interests. She has high technical insight and understands the technology from sensor level to complete integration on most platforms and systems. Through her subsea drilling background, along with military understanding, she has developed a special interest towards the maritime domain and dual-use technology. Additionally, she is dedicated to issues related to sanctions, export control, and ensuring the security of Norwegian values through a forward-thinking approach to due diligence and screening. Cathrine has since January 2023 been working for Deloitte and Risk Advisory where she is building intelligence services that help businesses with holistic risk and threat analysis, support for sanctions and exports control and other strategic advisory.
