Håkon Lunde Saxi

Håkon Lunde Saxi is a Professor at the Norwegian Defence University College (FHS) in Oslo, one of Norway’s leading academic institutions in military strategy and joint operations, as well as security and defense policy. He has been affiliated with FHS since 2009 and has conducted extensive research on Norwegian, Nordic, and Northern European defense policy. Saxi completed his doctoral dissertation in 2016 on British and German defense policy after the Cold War. During his doctoral studies, he served as a visiting researcher at the UK’s Joint Services Command and Staff College (JSCSC) and the German research foundation SWP. Saxi also interned at the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) in 2009.
