Hanne Eggen Røislien

Hanne Eggen Røislien is a Senior Researcher and Advisor at the Norwegian Cyber Defence. She is also affiliated with the Institute for Defence Studies and the Army Cyber Institute at West Point. She specializes in topics related to cyber security culture, the human factor in cyberspace, and organizational changes within the cyber domain for a more forward-looking defense strategy. Røislien holds a PhD in religious studies from NTNU with a focus on the Israeli Defense Forces. She has extensive experience in the Middle East and has conducted research on the Jewish radical settler movement in the West Bank. Røislien has been associated with PRIO and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC, and has worked for the United Nations in countries such as Iraq and Kuwait.
