Ingvild Næss

Ingvild Næss is a lawyer from the University of Oslo. She has been working on issues related to technology, privacy, freedom of expression, and trust in the business sector since 2005. Næss worked for many years at the law firm Thommessen, where she was involved in leading the firm’s focus on technology and privacy. In the last four years, Næss has worked at Schibsted. She is currently the Director of Privacy and Data Trends and serves on the management team at Schibsted Data & Tech. Næss also leads the Media Businesses’ Association’s committee for data and privacy. Furthermore, she has been appointed as a member of the privacy commission, which is expected to submit its report by the end of 2021.
