Ole Andre Bråten
Ole Andre Bråten has 25 years of experience in conflict and crisis management, both internationally and domestically. He is a specialist in organizational psychology (M.Phil.) with a particular professional interest in leadership and emergency preparedness planning. Bråten has led several research projects in the field of societal security, authored, and contributed to several textbooks on the subject. He has taught these topics at Høgskolen i Innlandet. He also serves as an external examiner in the relevant areas at Høgskolen i Innlandet, NTNU and UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Bråten has experience from the UN, NATO, and the Norwegian justice sector, including roles as Police Chief Inspector and lecturer at the Police University College. He has represented the Army at the International Police Company, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, SHAPE, and served in UNIFIL for UN peacekeeping. Bråten is also the author of the book ‘Handbook in Crisis Management,’ published by Cappelen Damm Akademisk. He is a frequently sought-after speaker and advisor for organizations and leadership teams.
