Rasmus Gjeddsø Bertelsen
Rasmus Gjedssø Bertelsen is a professor in Northern Studies and holds the ‘Barents Chair in Politics’ at UiT – The Arctic University of Norway. He is a Danish political scientist, raised in Iceland, which has made him personally and professionally interested in the North Atlantic and the Arctic regions. Bertelsen received his education in Copenhagen, Reykjavik, Lausanne, Geneva, Amsterdam, Cambridge, and Sciences Po. He has been a postdoc at Harvard Kennedy School, United Nations University-Institute of Advanced Studies, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Aalborg University. Bertelsen’s research areas include transnational knowledge and political psychology between the West and the East.
