Richard Utne

Richard Utne has extensive international experience in risk management and security leadership, both in the private and public sectors. He has a long service record in the military and has served as an advisor in several international operations. Utne holds an M.Sc. in Risk Management and Security Leadership from the University of Stavanger, with a specialization in security management in conflict zones. He actively participates in various forums and expert groups related to societal security. In 2018, he was the project leader for NATO’s Civilian Committee Transport Group Ocean Shipping: Project Enhancing Situational Awareness to Hybrid Threats to the Maritime Community in the North Atlantic Ocean and North Sea. In 2019, Utne contributed to the Hybrid Study conducted by the Norwegian Business Security Council.
